Zhangjiawo town's central park in Xiqing district has completed upgrades to its sports and football courts and is now open to the public.
The renovation included improvements to flooring, anti-slip surfaces, and lighting, with a combined free and low-fee operation mode to facilitate residents' fitness activities.
The park features one football court and two multi-purpose sports courts, each about 600 square meters, making them suitable for basketball, badminton, and other activities. A local resident playing basketball said that the improved lighting makes evening play safer and the reasonable fees benefit nearby residents.
Along with the previously reopened 1,200-meter fitness trail, the park now offers diverse facilities to meet the recreational and exercise needs of all age groups. Another resident highlighted that the newly leveled and anti-slip trail provides a much more comfortable walking experience than before.
According to officials from Zhangjiawo town, the town plans to continue addressing public concerns and optimize the layout of public sports facilities, enabling more residents to enjoy the benefits of sports development.
The renovated courts and trail have already become popular spots, with fitness enthusiasts exercising freely and residents walking or jogging along the smooth paths.
