In recent years, steel companies in Daqiuzhuang town, Jinghai district, Tianjin, have strived to expand their operations globally as part of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). Tianjin Xinyue Steel Group is one of the standout players in the region.
Since 2012, Xinyue Steel has been focusing on international business. With the introduction of the BRI, Xinyue Steel has been continuously expanding its cooperation partners. After years of effort, it has established solid cooperative relationships with the businesses from 120 countries, exporting products to countries including South Africa, Uganda, Egypt, Tanzania and Morocco.
"We currently have two branches in Tianjin and Hunan, and we have an overseas warehouse in the UAE," said Ren Zhian, general manager of Tianjin Xinyue Industry and Trade, the subsidiary of Xinyue Steel.
"After years of operation, our products have been exported to over 100 countries and regions in Oceania, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, South America, Europe, Africa, among others."
The company's main products include fluid steel pipes, structural steel pipes, bends, flanges, sheet piles, and steel structures.

Since 2017, Xinyue Steel has developed a one-stop service model integrating design, production, and sales, gradually transitioning from simple trade to project participation. The company has participated in the construction of bridges, docks, ports, water conservancy projects, urban pipe networks, and other infrastructure projects in multiple countries.
Currently, Xinyue Steel provides over 100,000 tons of high-quality steel materials annually for various projects worldwide, covering infrastructure, large oil fields, oil and gas pipeline laying, and many other fields. In the government and municipal projects, the company has provided materials for over 500 projects annually.
Over the past five years, the company's annual sales revenue has exceeded 700 million yuan ($96.62 million), with stable annual growth in revenue for five consecutive years, with an increase of over 30 percent.
