A group of journalists from a number of media outlets visited Jingwu, a town in Tianjin's Xiqing district, on July 23 to learn about the local development of the ecological environment and industrial achievements.
Xiqing Suburban Park, the reporters' first stop, covers 9,300 mu, with a vast water area and forest land. The journalists took a water cruise in the park, experiencing the beautiful ecological environment of the park.
The reporters also visited local leading enterprises, including the Mayi New Energy Technology (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. and Smartmens (Tianjin) Technology Co., Ltd., in Jingwu's Tiankai Xiqing park.
Over the years, local Xiqing companies have been promoting their capacity for innovation, as well as facilitating digitalization and intelligent and green transformation of the manufacturing industry.
In 2024, Tiankai Xiqing park has introduced 187 new projects, with registered capital of about 349 million yuan ($48.16 million).
Going forward, Xiqing district intends to further optimize its business environment, supporting more small and medium-sized enterprises in settling in the region, in a bid to realize the rural revitalization in the district.
