Recently, Singapore's national wushu team came to Tianjin Huoyuanjia Civil and Military School for training and a cultural exchange.

A total of 13 members of Singapore's national wushu team participated in the training, which was arranged in preparation of the upcoming 2023 Cambodia Southeast Asia Youth Games.
According to Hou Dongmei, head coach of Tianjin Huoyuanjia Civil and Military School, through this training session, Singapore’s national wushu team can learn and improve their competitive and traditional wushu skills while experiencing the wushu training environment and competition atmosphere in China, and the school would do its best to provide various services to ensure that their level improves during the training period.

Liu Hanlong, secretary general of the Singapore Wushu Dragon and Lion Dance Federation, highlighted that Xiqing district is a famous hometown of wushu arts. Singapore's national wushu team is honored to be invited by the Tianjin Wushu Arts Association to come here for training and a cultural exchange, and hopes to have more exchange opportunities with the team members of the school.
