On Feb 1, a thank-you letter was sent to Xiqing's government from China Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. expressing the company's gratitude for Xiqing's support and services in the upgrading and transformation of the company. With the local government's help, it only took 5 months from construction for the company to launch new products, and 3 days to receive its food production license.
With a history of 40 years, China Otsuka Pharmaceutical has always adhered to its mission of "taking care of people's health and providing outstanding products and services". It has several pharmaceutical subdivisions, such as plastic bottle infusion, soft bag infusion, plastic ampoules, and eye drops, and its products are sold nationwide and overseas, boosting the construction of a "healthy China". At the beginning of 2022, the company decided to open up new fields, accelerating the research and development of electrolyte beverage products based on technology introduced in Japan, and producing special medical and nutritional food.

In September 2022, after learning of the transformation plan of the company, the local government gave high recognition of their work and selected a specialized team to provide guidance to the company at its production and storage sites.
"When the functional room of the factory needed to undergo inspection, the staff of the relevant departments of Xiqing district followed up the whole process to help us troubleshoot any hidden problems, and provided suggestions on how the functional room of the factory could comply with laws and regulations more quickly and submit for approval, " said the responsible person of China Otsuka Pharmaceutical.
In December 2022, in order to guide the company to obtain its food production qualification certification and start production as soon as possible, the Xiqing Government Service Office assisted the enterprise in contacting the Xiqing Market Supervision Bureau to handle the food production license approval matters. Throughout the period, the relevant departments visited China Otsuka Pharmaceutical for field research, and experts delivered guidance on food security, publicity, industrial innovation and other areas.

On the last day of January 2023, the company successfully received its food production license. It took just 3 days for the whole process to be completed, while it would typically takes 15 working days.
