Xiqing has focused on convenience for the elderly. In addition to setting up services sites in main transport stations and hospitals, the local government has also promoted the reconstruction and renewal of old urban communities in Xiqing district. At present, 11 comprehensive service centers for the elderly have been built, 63 day care centers, 147 canteens, health stations, and other services facilities have been built.
The local government has continued to promote the implementation of key projects, introduce elderly care and health care projects, such as Tianjin Jingmu Elderly Care Service Co., Ltd., and actively promote the integration and development of the elderly care industry and service industry. At the same time, it has striven to issue subsidies for two local elderly care projects, Zhangjiawo Zhijing Lanyuan Nursing Home and Zhangjiawo Zhijing Lanyuan Elderly Service Center, so as to further stimulate enthusiasm in social capital to participate in elderly care services in the area.
