Recently, Xiqing Elderly Care Home, an embedded public elderly care institution, was put into operation.
Xiqing Elderly Care Home is located in Zhangjiawo town, with an area of 1,500 square meters. It is the first district level embedded public nursing home in Xiqing, and is operated by a professional elderly care service enterprise. It has given priority to meeting the needs of special groups of elderly people with a low income.

Embedded elderly care institutions refer to those that fully rely on community elderly care service facilities and other resources to provide professional care, psychological comfort, and other comprehensive elderly care services for the elderly in and around the communities.
As one of the projects of "district-level public elderly care institution construction" of Xiqing in 2022, after comprehensively considering regional economic development, population distribution, supporting services and other conditions, the local government selected the supporting facilities in Zhangjiawo town as the construction site of public elderly care institutions, forming an elderly care service complex that integrates institutions, communities, and homes, playing a leading role in promoting elderly care services in the district, and meeting the diversified elderly care service needs of local residents.
