With the change of the times, it was urgent to develop new materials to strengthen infrastructure construction of the city. “In the past, some of our long-span bridges and highways were reinforced with foreign materials, the cost of which was relatively high, while the acceptance of our domestic materials was low. Since 2009, our company has been engaged in the breakthrough and development of this kind of technical material. At present, our prestressed CFRP system has obtained the international advanced-level certification, and the cost is less than 50% of foreign materials.” said Luo Shigang, the manager of product development department of Carbon technology Group.
