In recent years, Yangliuqing town, Xiqing district, through combining the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the strategic layout of Xiong'an New Area, has focused on its urbanization, accelerated its transition from traditional manufacturing to a modern service industry, cultivated new growth points around emerging industries, such as e-commerce and cultural tourism, and achieved new breakthroughs in the high-quality economic and social development of the town.

In 2021, starting with the rural cultural and tourism industry, Yangliuqing town introduced the "ideal village project" alongside the construction of the Grand Canal Cultural Park, in order to promote the development of its primary and secondary industries with its tertiary industry, and realize the optimization of agricultural varieties and brand construction in the region. The implementation of this project has integrated local agriculture, culture, tourism and the community.

In the overall development layout of Yangliuqing town, there is not only an ecological leisure area in the north of the town, but also a modern industrial service area in the south. Xinbaolong Elevator Group, located in the municipal demonstration industrial park, is primarily engaged in escalator manufacturing and R&D, and is one of the largest elevator manufacturers in North China. It has won the titles of National High-tech Enterprise, Tianjin Municipal Technology Center, Tianjin Science and Technology "Little Giant" Enterprise.
Promoting economic and social development in the region, Yangliuqing town has also consistently worked to improve people's livelihoods. Many social security enhancement projects, such as the Yangliuqing Nursing Home, Dongzui Central Primary School, Daliutan Central Primary School, have been successfully promoted.
In the future, Yangliuqing town will continue to focus on building an international Yangliuqing Grand Canal National Cultural Park, and will build a canal culture core exhibition area, a traditional culture inheritance area, and a leisure tourism resort.
