This year, Wangwenzhuang town planted nearly 28,000 mu of high-yield and high-quality rice, including the rice varieties of Tianlongyou 619 and Jinyujing 22. The average yield per mu is expected to reach 550 kilograms, and the total yield is expected to be 15,400 tons.
"This year, we started planting in the middle of May and started to harvest in the middle of October. Tianlongyou 619 and Jinyujing 22 are two varieties that we have been planting for the past two years. Their output value is relatively stable, and is expected to increase by 150,000 to 200,000 kilograms compared with last year." said Dai Renqiang, the vice manager of the production department of the Tianjin Technical Service Center of Sinochem Modern Agriculture Co., Ltd.

In recent years, Wangwenzhuang town has introduced an intelligent management mode of agriculture, aiming at constructing a demonstration area of rice planting. Through its cooperation with Sinochem and the application of an intelligent management system, it has increased the planting capacity of rice and achieved bumper harvests.
"Before harvesting, we will test the water content and maturity of the rice. When both of the conditions meet the standards, we can start the harvest. This year, the external environment was favorable for the overall harvest." added Dai.
In Wangwenzhuang town, rice production has realized mechanized and digital management. The Internet of Things in the farmlands, meteorological stations, satellite remote sensing technology and other scientific and technological means have been launched. The Sinochem MAP intelligent agricultural command platform monitors a variety of dynamic information in real time, and updates satellite remote sensing data every five days, allowing one agronomist to manage thousands of acres of rice fields. Technology not only makes farming easier, but also ensures the quality and yield of rice.

"The agronomist can obtain information about the crop growth of the plots on his mobile phone and analyze them by color. The blue areas indicate that crop growth is very good, while brown areas indicate that crop growth is of concern when compared with the surrounding areas. We also collect the agricultural data for later rice quality control. " said Chenyu, a member of staff at the Tianjin Technical Service Center of Sinochem Modern Agriculture.
