On Aug 18, the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Xiqing district held a conference with the theme "Joyful career for graduated talents in Xiqing" to improve the ability of graduates to find employment.

This conference has built a communication platform for Nankai University and enterprises in Xiqing district to promote benign interaction among government, universities and enterprises. Yang Kexin, executive deputy secretary of the CPC Nankai University committee, and Chai Shufang, deputy director of Xiqing district attended the meeting and delivered speeches.
At the conference, Yang introduced the history, discipline characteristics, scientific research achievements and the talents resources of 2022 graduates of Nankai University. Chai spoke about the local economic and social development, industrial strength, entrepreneurship ecology, talent policy, and other information on Xiqing. Chai invited the graduates of Nanjing University to start their own businesses or seek employment opportunities in Xiqing.

Based on the academic background, job-seeking intention and other information of the graduates, 236 jobs in 15 high-quality enterprises were provided at the conference. Representatives of some departments of Nankai University and 15 enterprises have conducted initial matching based on disciplines and industry types.
The Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Xiqing district will continue to strengthen the communication and cooperation between government and universities, providing high-quality employment opportunities for the graduates.
