Established by the Zhongbei town government, the Tropical Plants Park, located at Zhongbei town of Xiqing district of Tianjin, is the largest flower distributing center of North China. The park -- next to the Caozhuang flower market -- features activities like sightseeing, entertainment, shopping and science education. It is known as the largest indoor botanical garden in Asia. The park has a landscape based on the environment that sustains the plants' growing environment.
More than 2,000 kinds of tropical and subtropical plants are grown in the park, where the temperature is above 20 degrees Celsius all year round and humidity is above 70 percent. Appropriate environment makes flowers flourishing, landscape beautiful and people relaxed. The park, thanks to its wonderful scenery, is a must-visit place for many tourists coming to Tianjin.
