The Tiantai Wool Factory renovation project in Xiqing district, Tianjin, has recently drawn attention.

The project will transform the old factory into North China's first cultural and creative park driven by both domestic trend animation and avant-garde performance, combining industrial heritage with digital content.

As a living relic of Xiqing's industrial past, the Tiantai Wool Factory stands as a testament to the city's textile heritage. The renovation preserves the factory's original appearance while enhancing its value and modernizing its functions, turning dormant industrial space into a hub for entertainment, leisure, culture, sports and commercial services.

The project covers about 227.6 mu (15.1 hectares), with a total construction area of 39,000 square meters. The site will feature cultural exhibition and performance facilities, alongside diverse commercial spaces and boutique hotels, promoting both the revitalization of industrial heritage and regional development.

Once complete, the park will host domestic trend animation, avant-garde performances, and health and sports activities. Through the integration of industrial heritage and digital content, it will provide immersive experiences that combine online virtual scenes with offline physical attractions.

The project is expected to receive over 1 million visitors annually, generate more than 2,000 jobs, and deliver both social and economic benefits.
