Since 2020, Zhangjiawo has been focusing on agricultural land use and implementing land management tailored to local conditions.
Over 4,000 mu of various tracts of abandoned and bare land have been consolidated, with some of the land entrusted to collective management of the nearby villages so as to ensure the stable income that it brings to the local villagers.
Meanwhile, Zhangjiawo has been exploring the new development paths, encouraging the integration of agricultural planting with the breeding industry. Based on the characteristics of the agricultural foundations in local villages, rice planting with fish and crab breeding projects have been undertaken.
In addition, by connecting the agricultural, cultural and tourism industries of each village, Zhangjiawo has put together several high-quality rural tourism routes, including beautiful rice field landscapes, green ecology, and leisure sightseeing, and forming an economic development belt where the beauty of pastoral landscapes and agricultural culture deeply intertwine.
In the future, Zhangjiawo town intends to further promote the utilization of local farmlands, achieving rural revitalization through agricultural industry.
