Local folk culture was highly favored and traditional attractions and venues, such as Yangliuqing Ancient Town, Shijia Courtyard, the Yangliuqing Folk Culture Museum and Yuchenghao New Year Painting Workshop have continued to attract a steady stream of visitors. The lively dragon and lion dances, yangge (a type of Chinese folk dance) and waist drum performances attracted a large number of tourists.
Spring outings and leisure activities also remained popular. During the three-day holiday, as the temperature rose, there was a strong demand for short-distance parent-child trips and suburban outings.
