On Nov 7, coinciding with the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE), Tianjin’s Xiqing district held an investment promotion conference in Shanghai.
Representatives from 150 companies in key industries such as integrated circuits, connected vehicles, biopharmaceuticals, and cultural tourism were invited. Yin Xuewu, deputy secretary of the CPC Xiqing District Committee and head of Xiqing district, attended the conference and delivered a speech.

Yin expressed his gratitude to those entrepreneurs who have demonstrated care and support for the economic and social development of Xiqing district over the years. He said that Tianjin and Shanghai are key cities for the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. Cultural integration and economic exchanges between the two cities are becoming increasingly close. In the past few years, Xiqing district has deepened cooperation and exchanges with the Yangtze River Delta region, attracting a large number of high-quality enterprises from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai to settle in the region.

He highlighted that Xiqing has been developing its main industries and the five key industrial chains of integrated circuits, car networking, biomedicine, automobiles and new energy vehicles, and high-end equipment manufacturing, which have flourished and show a promising future. A series of high-quality projects has emerged and Xiqing welcomes more entrepreneurs to visit the region, which will further facilitate cooperation between Tianjin and Shanghai.
During the promotion conference, a number of representatives from Xiqing introduced its investment environment and policies, and delivered keynote speeches.
