The Xiqing Automobile Industrial Zone (now also known as Xiqing Beijing-Tianjin Innovation Park), one of Tianjin's 31 model industrial parks, was established in 2009 with a total planned area of five square kilometers and an initial development zone area of 3.4 square kilometers.
The park is located next to Tianjin South Railway Station and the Beijing–Shanghai Expressway, offering convenient transportation and comprehensive supporting facilities.
The zone's leading industries include electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing, general equipment manufacturing, and agricultural and sideline food processing.
Key enterprises such as Tianjin Fusong Auto Parts and Tianjin Lianxinying Plastic Technologies have been leveraged to strengthen the automotive parts sector and enhance the park's core competitiveness.
With Tianjin Xinbaolong Elevator Group as a flagship, related companies including Tianjin Jiali Elevator & Motor and Tianjin Huaxing Electric Motor Manufacturing have expanded production to complement each other's products, forming an industrial chain for elevators and motors and creating a specialized cluster.
Guided by professional equipment R&D firms like Tianjin Weidian Electric Technology, the park is actively introducing and nurturing public-support instrument and equipment manufacturers, helping them expand their market share and further consolidating the electrical and general equipment agglomeration area as a new growth driver.
